This is one of the first quilt squares that I made for my version of the Jane Stickle quilt that she called "In War Time" in 1863.I am calling my quilt "In Leornian Tide"
which means "In Learning Time" in Olde English. My goal at the moment is to make one triangle and one block a week.
On the Dear Jane mailing list many of the members put numbers after their names to show how far along they have progressed.
My numbers as of today are: 27,11,1,789
that is the numbers of the finished blocks,triangles,corners,pieces. The original quilt made by Jane has 5,602 pieces... I have a ways to go
